The service was nice but the food was very basic. I can't see what the hype was about maybe if I ever visit again I will try something different
We have returned 2 years in a row from South Carolina!! Love it!!
What a nice surprise! If this restaurant was in Dallas the meals would cost twice as much! Started off with chicken a sausage gumbo which was rich in flavor and ingredients. Next was a fresh crisp salad. Then the baby back ribs! These were cooked to perfection as the meat fell off every bone. They were served Kansas City style with sauce instead of Texas style which I'm used to but the sauce didn't overpower the flavor of the meat. They have Great food, fast service and great atmosphere.
In town for my father's 64th high school reunion and my brother took us to the Mill..wonderful food.. great service.. comfortable atmosphere..the father of one of my Dad's friends worked there when it was a working mill, so it was doubly special. My brother ordered the 12 oz prime rib and it was so large he questioned the waitress..she said they don't weigh it, they eyeball it and usually it ends larger than expected.. we're from Ohio, so the fried green tomatoes we're a real treat..will definitely go back next time we're in... read more
My favorite place to go out and love the jazz night also!
At first, I thought it was going to be an average experience at a local busy restaurant. The menu was very big (which always scares me because usually it indicates nothing is truly a 'speciality' there but Boy was I in for a treat! The bread, the meals, the service-every bit worth the 5 stars! The prime rib was incredible, tender and HUGE! The hostess and our waiter were great! Everyone at my table enjoyed their meal (especially the ribs) except me - mahi mahi is not salmon and requires a lot more love :)
