Always have a unique menu and nice music last night.
Omg!!!! Mill Street is our absolute favorite place when in Staunton. Cathie and Anthony ROCK!!!!!
My family and I had car trouble and ended up having to stay in Staunton overnight unexpectedly. The tow truck driver recommended Mill Street Grill. The food was so perfectly prepared and the service was so spot on that I'm quite grateful for the car breaking down. We're already talking about taking friends across the state to let them enjoy!
The ribs were excellent but what stood out the most for us was the Caprese salad nestled in the olive oil/balsamic vinegar bath accompanied by soft toasted garlic bread. I would have been content with just that!
This place was very nice. The menu was extensive, items were reasonably priced, and the service was excellent. Our groups was especially excited about the banana butter and raspberry butter served with the rolls.
I was a bit worried when the large menu was put in front of me and the corner I was tucked in was a bit dark and the ceiling seemed low , but our waitress was very friendly and very helpful with the menu , we both ordered the prime rib and it was larger than expected and delicious it was more than I could eat , my husband had room for dessert that I took a bite of and it was great! I would give it 4 stars 5 if I had not been so worried in the beginning of our encounter.
Food was great. Price was good.. service was lacking
I have been coming to Mill St Grill for a long time. Service is great like always, but what was bad for the first time ever was the food. The burger texture was very weird. Seemed very processed like ground up 3 or 4 times. Funny taste too. The steak was the porter house special.... Cooked perfect on one half then almost raw on the other half. Salad n Peppermint ice cream was great as usual too. I'll still go back but will get something different next time
The food was excellent including a vegetarian wrap 1 of the five of us ordered. 6 stars to our server Anthony. Perfect service and the best personality. Can sure tell he enjoys his job.
