The food was great along with the service and the atmosphere was awesome.Easy walk from the Stonewall Jackson Hotel if you happen to be staying there. Would definitely recommend anyone to eat there regardless of what you like because they also have a pretty extensive menu selection.
We stopped overnight in Staunton, VA on our way to Upstate MY from Florida. I found a little menu for The Mill Street Grill in our hotel lobby. It looked very interesting so we decided to give it a try. It is an amazing restaurant with a wonderful menu and great wine list. We had a lovely dinner with great service and the peppermint ice cream that they brought us after dinner was just fabulous! We are already planning a return visit on our way back to Florida. We ate at Mill Street Grill twice on our last visit a couple of years ago. Their food is very good and they have fantastic bread pudding. Tonight when we got there, I asked about the bread pudding and they said it was not on the menu tonight. I jokingly told the waitress that we came all the way from Alabama for bread pudding. The waitress told the owner and guess what, they made us two orders of bread pudding. That's what I call customer service. It was delicious!
