I have been taking my rotties there for years,as rescues go I have had some bad outcomes with the dogs. I always was treated with respect and caring,To name a few; Dr. Orben,Dr. Lehr, Dr. Svor and all the staff I have had a rescue for the past 9 years,who can be a behavior problem the vets went above and beyond to treat her over the years. She is a healthy happy senior due to the care there. I recently paid off a large bill and was grateful to be able to do that. I've been going there off and on for years. A few months ago I took my dog there because he was itching all the time. He gets Frontline + every month. They put him on Apoquel, an expensive allergy medication. When I had him groomed they found fleas. She never took out a flea comb and checked. Last week I took him back for more itching, I didn't see any fleas. This time, same vet, gave him a $63. Allergy shot and more Apoquel. Didn't check for fleas. On the way home I bought a flea comb. I had to run my 12 year old male cat in because he wasn't doing good. Unfortunately I had to euthanize him due to his body shutting down on him. They were very caring towards him and myself and they even stayed with me when he passed since I was there alone. I appreciate everything they did for my boy and he will be missed so much!
My Greta has lick granuloma. Kinda like hot spots on her paws. QVC-H, offered a drug trial for Apoquel, Greta's skin irritation was all over her body at the time. The drug worked! But not completely, her paws were stubborn. QVC-H tried a different approach with their newly obtained laser therapy equipment. It's working !!! A slow process mind you because the wounds are pretty extensive, however I can't thank Doreen and Dr Brooks and the enjoyable staff enough, for the relief my Greta girl experiences.
