Avoid this place – Coming from the west coast, I feel comfortable saying I have experienced great Mexican food. This place does not rate up there. Over priced below average food. If you have a craving for Mexican food, I say search elsewhere!
Great food – I've been eating at Miguel's for several years. Their specials are great. The last time I ate there I had a poblano pepper stuffed with crab meat. It was awesome. The Alambres are great and the Fajitas Mario too. The service has been a little off occassionally but the food makes up for it. There seems to be a high turn-over there with the wait staff but the managers seem to stay the same. I think with a high turnover and always having newbies, stuff will happen. Best In Tampa – If I want Mexican food in Tampa this is the place. Good size portions. The Quesadillas are the best especaialy the spinach & shrimp. There sangeria is homemade and good!!!! It gets a littlle crowded on weekends and parking is challenging sometimes. The wait staff always friendly even though they are very busy. But well worth it and it is not a chain...
Not a good choice – I have been to Miguel's 2 times... Both times obnoxious wait staff, food was marginal at best. Also both times they messed my order up, I WILL NEVER GO BACK!
best mexican food in Tampa – This is by far the best mexican food we have had since we moved here five years ago.
We love this place! – While we've just recently moved to Tampa, my husband and I go here every Friday night. Excellent menu selection, all items are fresh. It's so much better than 3 other mexican restaurants we've tried. Everyone in restaurant is very friendly. No problem with parking, there's plenty along side of restaurant and in back.
Very Good food! – Miguel's food was very good, and a great value! I recommend the Chimichanga. Parking is pretty tight so don't expect an easy parking spot at 7pm Saturday night. Our waitress was very good...so I'm not sure about others saying the service was bad.
Best Mex In Tampa – We visit Miguels fequently and have found the food and service to be always excellent. The only time it seemed a bit slow was during Gasparilla, when they were packed. The specials are interesting and the Sangria is one of the best I've found.
Miguels is the Best Mexican Resturant – Megials is a good place for the family. Food is very good. People ther seem like famil. You sence this type of a atmosphere in the air. The Stylish Mexican decorations are always being upgraded..
