Excellent Mexican Food – Miguel's is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Tampa Bay area. It has a very good variety of delicious Mexican dishes as well as very good chips and salsa. The service is personable, if not fast and the food is consistently good.

Food decent but nothing to rave about!! – we went around 2pm on a Tuesday. Went for the Tuesday special, 24.99 fajitas for 2 plus margarita/sangria pitcher. Being from Texas, I think I've had better, but the fajitas weren't too bad, Boracho beans were awesome, rice was nice but not what I was used to, but good. The only real let down when our food was placed in front of me were the tortillas!!! straight up store bought. and it seems that they weren't even warmed up on the stove but heated up some other way(nuked maybe)..I ha... read more

Great find, warm atmosphere, great food, moderate pricing – Just dined there last evening for my second visit and was as impressed as the first. Small, quaint restaurant, not fancy, but warm ambience. I think their sangria is some of the best around so order a pitcher if you're sharing. The food is much better than the quality at the "chain" type mexican restaurants popping up. The service is attentive as on both occasions the waiters checked back several times to see if we needed anything. My bellweather is the chips and sal... read more

good stuff – Cheap, fresh, homemade, very solid Mexican food. This is really tasty stuff - I finally found an inexpensive restaurant in Tampa that doesn't serve junk! Yeaay! I love to come back to this place.

If you want Mexican food and drive by this place....dont stop go to Taco Bell....Im serious!!!! – I had been craving mexican food for a few days and looked up the reviews on this restaurant, what a mistake. First off the drinks, what mexican restaurant doesnt make good Sangria? This one...well unless you like watered down fruit punch.I have had better Sangria at Olive Garden and cheaper. The service was terrible, the busser could've done a better job.The food was cold by the time we recieved it however the two other people with m... read more

Good, fresh food and a lot of it. – It?s relatively small and simply appointed dining area and weather worn though still colorful exterior shouldn?t be taken at a negative face value. This is an excellent dining establishment for people who like really good food at a reasonable price with generous portions served in a reasonably quick manner. The one draw back is the small parking area which leaves a lot to be desired. It would also be a good idea to call ahead if coming in with a large (6 or more)group. I have enjoyed all t... read more

Runied My Family Night... – My husband and I took our 2 kids here for dinner last week. When we got there only 5 tables had diners and 4 or 5 other tables had not been bussed. They sat us 2 tables from the front door. The waitress came and stocked the sugars on the table (obviously doing her side work ) but NEVER waited on us. We waited for 20 minutes!!!!! There is no way they didn't see us ...we were right b the hostess stand! Finally we just got up and walked out. Luckily we went down the street and had a great dinner ....... read more

One of the Best Around!! – I wouldn't consider myself to be any sort of expert on the absolute authenticity of Mexican cuisine (since I've never travelled to Mexico), but the food served at this restaurant is more than enough to convince me that the owners know what they are doing. I am a frequent diner at this establishment, and I've yet to order a single dish that I've disliked. I am not an haute cuisine snob, but by contrast I do posess a palate elevated far above the humdrum offerings of fast food joints. That being said... read more
