RecommendedDr. Botsford and the hygenist (I didn't get her name) at Midwest Dental in Baldwin were very welcoming, gentle and kind. I was terrified to be lectured, shamed, and scolded (since it's been a long while since my last dental visit)when they didn't know what it took for me to walk through that door but instead, I left with a smile on my face.
Davenport- staff is extremely friendly and helpful in my dental care plan. Easy to make a appointment. Did not have to give them 10$ for PPE- I am sure they negotiated that with my insurance. Never had any problems with payment my insurance sends me copies as well. I love having a female dentist her hands are much smaller !! She even calls me to see how I feel after work is done!
Very impersonal. Dentist was obnoxiously rude and wouldn’t communicate in a way I could understand. Wearing 3 face masks and a face shield. I couldn’t understand a word SHE said, then she said the helper could interpret for her....what’s that all about? I almost forgot the most important part. We have been regular to our family dentist for years and she suggested 3-crowns be replaced for almost $11,000 worth of work. I grew up with Midwest Dental in Manitowoc and didn’t think of considering the competitors in the area, having been a customer since I was 12 years old I loved Dr. Garcia and her compassionate team. After the unprofessional treatment of family members I’ll make sure to never make that mistake again. nice environment and very nice people
They have the ability to call once a week for months on end.. without an end ..to keep harassing you to schedule an appointment.
They anesthetize me years ago for a root canal and dental work. They were not to use any metal fillings or metal in my root canal. I just had a cone beam X-ray and they buried tons of metal under neath a white cap. I have been sick ever since. Do not see these people. They are literal criminals. Anyone continuing to use amalgam and perform root canals are sincerely a danger to your health. Update: I have since had the root canal removed and they buried amalgam containing MERCURY under the tooth colored cap. I would not recom... read more
Worst experience in my life with a dentist! Never been in so much pain ever at a dentist ! Even told the dentist I was in pain and he failed to give me another shot or even slow down what he was doing! I’ll never want in there doors again! Went to a different dentist and got amazing care and a tooth pulled at new dentist with no problem! In fact I’ve had two teeth pulled sense and no problems! Midwest is a joke ! I’ll never go back!!!
My 11 year old, nonverbal, autistic son had a dental emergency. I left messages with probably 30 offices and 2 Midwest dental locations. Both were the first to return my calls and Midwest dental in Oregon IL went ABOVE AND BEYOND. They scheduled him in today, and were willing to work around the difficulties he has with the dentist. THEN personally made calls to get him scheduled in with an office that could provide sedation and resolve the issue. They even called to check up on him later.
