RecommendedDr. Lackey is a very compassionate and knowledgable vet. We followed him from the Clemmons practice to Midway. He now is carrying for our newest pet. She is a very active 4 month old Yorkie. we look forward to having him treat and care for her for many, many years.
RecommendedI’ve trusted Dr. Lakey with the health of my pets for six years!! Even since I’ve moved to TN the last two years, I still come back to NC for regular visits and always bring my dogs for a checkup. I haven’t found a vet in TN as knowledgeable, attentive, or caring as Dr. Lakey! He even recently over the holidays diagnosed a problem with my elderly beagle that three vets in TN couldn’t help. Thank you for all you do and for always being top notch!!!
RecommendedI only recommend Dr. Lakey...After seeing his new female vet, I am considering leaving this practice. If I come back, it will be seeing ONLY Dr. Lakey. His staff also needs to remember they may be working with animals , but the humans pay the bills....being condescending does not make me want to return.

RecommendedDr. Lakey and his staff have been wonderful to me and my dog over the years. Dr. Lakey calls for lab results, questions/concerns, and with updates. My dog, Willow, had surgery there today and him and his staff kept me updated all throughout the day to let me know how she was. They all do a great job. I know my girl is in good hands when she is at Midway Animal Clinic.
RecommendedDr. Lakey is the best! He cares about your pets and has personally called to check on one of my dogs after having a hard time with his neuter. will not go anywhere else. after moving to Lexington a year ago it is a bit of a drive but it is worth the care and compassion my 3 dogs receive at this office. the ladies who run the front counter know my pets by name. they make you feel like family. love this office and all of its staff
RecommendedDr Lakey was in Clemmons at the vet their and when we found out he was in Midway we changed. Dr Lakey is one of a kind of Dr he is so compassion with every furbabies he takes care of. When our furbaby got sick and we rushed him to Clemmons and Dr Lakey called to give me a update so often. The last call was to tell me we needed to come and tell our baby goodbye, it killed him to tell me that. Very compassion for your furbabies.
RecommendedWe are impressed with this young vet. He makes you feel welcome and comfortable while treating you pet with the best of care. His whole staff has made us enjoy going in for annual visits. Our pets respond very well to the whole team at Midway.
RecommendedBest Vet hands down!! My dog got sick over the 4th of July weekend and Dr Lakey worked us in. He was very honest and compassionate when he explained how sick she was. They gave her fluids and medicine while there. Come Monday I called and spoke to Dr Lakey who agreed if she hasn't ate or drank in the past 5 days it was only a matter of time.
