Purchased 8000 BTU window air-conditioning. Someone at factory jammed the wrong size filter screen in the front. Sent customer service endless photos model number purchase receipt and they still couldn’t send me the correct filter. I ended up having to tape it in.
While the Midea U-Shaped AC has a great concept, the engineering of the drainage system is completely defective, and the company refuses to back its own safety remedies once you are out of the standard warranty window. Failed Recall Fix: My unit underwent the official 2025 recall repair to fix mold exposure risks. Worse customer care ever , they just wants to take money for just coming and checking the problem with my cooker without repairing and if they are going to replace parts they are going to surprise me with the amount and if i refuse to replace the expensive parts i have still ti pay 250 dhr just because the came and check
I was considering the purchase of a Midea air handler and heat pump. Communicating with the company is virtually impossible. Pretty close to the worst customer service I have ver experienced. Unfortunately for Midea, this was all I needed to simply move in another direction. They could take a page from Senville here in Canada whose customer service is beyond impressive. Unfortunately, Senville does not sell air to water heat pumps.
