Fine Dining in the Lake Norman area Awesome, classy restaurant. Great for dates! Good steaks, house dressing and spirits. My favorite dish is Shrimp and Grits. Nice atmosphere to dine in. We love their bar!
Great dining overall! – This is really an excellent restaurant overall. The service was great and the lighting is just right for a group dinner or a romantic evening out. From the salads to dessert, the food is outright delicious, the only problem is make sure you know how they cook their steaks. They actually char/sear the outside of the steak (after rubbing it with some spices, etc.) at a high temp to lock in all the juices, but unfortunately sometimes this makes the outside almost "burnt" and the inside very juicy. Excellent Choice – We love M&M! The steaks are their claim to fame but their lobster is wonderful! Love the combo! Great side dishes and the blue cheese dressing is the best I've ever had. Great selection and good portions on the wine too! Apple Martinis are fabulous. Downside is that it is noisy but it's a fun place with good service and excellent food!
Superb Restaurant Mickey & Mooch is the place to go for fine dining in Huntersville. The menu is great and contemporary. The atmosphere is casually elegant. The food is consistently high quality as is the service.
steak was the only thing good about the place – I read the reviews. I have been there 5 times. Each time for steak. the service is so so . the atmosphere is truly lousy and loud. The so called GM is full of himself from watching him with the others. We go there for the steak only because there is nothing else in the area and they know it. Best overall restaurant in the Charlotte area! – My husband and I have been dining at Mickey and Mooch for the past 6 years. We always have an excellent meal. The atmosphere is very upbeat, and the food is great. Also, save room for dessert, the chocolate cake is wonderful. Everytime we try a new restaurant, we always say, "We should have gone to M&M!"
Disappointed but we will give them another try. – We had a rather diappointing visit on Friday evening, but will give M&M one more try.
What's all the hype about? – Ate here for the first time and I have no clue what people see in this place. Sure, they give you huge portions, but like they say you get what you pay for. I saw a review that said this place was better than The Palm, someone must have had way too much budweiser because that's like comparing a Ferrari to a Chevy.
