Great Steaks – All the steaks are cooked "Pittsburgh Style", high heat on outside, but still pink in the center. Try them; they are great!
arboretum location is better – Have eaten in this resteraunt for years. The only bad meal I've had their was at the Sam Furr location. It may not be the finest resteraunt in Charlotte, but it is mighty good for the money. They are also generous with the portions on wine and drinks.
Great Food, Busy Atmosphere – I've never had a bad meal here, and I've been five times. The crabcakes are some of the best in town and the steak is always moist and juicy. If you're health concious the salmon is always a good bet, but make sure it is cooked through. On the side, highlights include Charleston Grits (grits with a touch of cream, better than the potatos) and a house salad with homemade Honey Mustard or Blue cheese Dressing. I LOVED IT – I Loved the food the service, i loved it all around. Great place to have a fun night. I have also checked out Mickey & Mooch The Other Joint. Great place too Dancing live music Open Kitchen View, i loved every min of it. Hey if you have not been there go check it out, cause i will be back there again.
I wish I had gone to Wendy's – I was very disappointed in the food & management at Mickey & Mooch. I first ordered fish, Mahi and it was very fishey and cooked to long and very bland. They were dry and bland. I then sent the Mahi Mahi back and ordered a broiled chicken breast. The chicken was very very dry and bland. Needless to say, I was not impressed with the food. Worth the ride... – I live in Southwest Mecklenburg County. Mickey and Mooch used to be my favorite restaurant, but no longer. What happened? They opened Mickey and Mooch, The Other Joint. It's much closer. But if you want to take a nice evening ride to Huntersville, ask for the reserve wine list. You will be very plesantly suprised at the great values. Better food and better service than Morton's of Chicago for less than half the price.
Over rated – Came from Chicago and Kansas City adnd I know a good steak.. They must have had a bad night. Filet was tough and grissly. Nothing accompanied the meat, just a steak on a plate--no juice, no garnish nothing. Worse was that it was a mdeium steak that was dry. Guess we weren't regulars and got stuck with a bad piece of meat. think the place is overrated.
never bad – the most incredible food. fabulous wines, large quantities of food, desert is the bomb but really large.
great quality – Excellent quality Great ambiance Relatively inexpensive for the overall quality.
