Not too shabby I have been a resident for two years, and I’m very happy with the place. Cockroach issues (This version corrects an error in dates contained in the original text) While this building is in a great location and a nice property in many respects, in the fall of 2018, cockroaches started showing up in the apartment. Perfect Location; Ugly Paint The Envoy is located at the ideal spot. Located in front of the park, 5 minute walk to Adams Morgan, 6 minute walk to U st. Not to mention the bus stop in front of the Envoy that take you directly downtown and the Harris Teeter located next door. The main distractor is the first impression before seeing any units. Great apts, horrible management Apartments are world class, but property management sucks. Already paying a lot of money, it’s ridiculous that they have to nickle-and-dime residents with silly fees.

No amenities, Bikes get stolen here left and right, Leasing / Management have IQs of 4 I have lived here for 3 years and honestly the only thing that keeps me here is the location because for the price you can probably pay somewhere else to live with more amenities but not have this great location. Great Customer Service I have been living here for 5 years. It is a pleasure living in the area. Beautiful, Very professional Mrs. Kale Davis, and all the staff cares about the property. Now I am currently employed at High Rise Apartment complex. Which I know how some Apartment complexes don't care for the residents. Aesthetically pleasing garbage for $1825/month I’m really disappointed with my apartment community the envoy and the management company the envoy. I’ve had maintenance issues with air/heating and plumbing constantly. Some which took multiple occasions to get fixed. Some which haven’t been fixed. My apartment is Entered at least monthly by strangers for “pest control” or “quarterly inspections” which feels really invasive. Great Place To Live My first impression of The Envoy was very memorable. The lobby is so nice and the staff are friendly and down to earth. If you don't drive like me this is the place for you. Its in between Adams Morgan & Columbia Heights. There is also a bus stop right in front of the building! Its cool how they email me when my packages arrive. Never had that anywhere else I have stayed.
Do NOT live here! This was the worst apartment I've ever lived in. No dishwasher, no garbage disposal.. those are things I can live without. However, the building management is horrendous, they don't fix the excercize equipment in the gym. Today I woke up to a sticker on my brand new car (parked in my spot) that said I will be towed for parking there. It took me two hours to get that off!! Please live anywhere else!!
