Great Property & Team I really loved living at Michigan Park. The managing team especially Edna was always incredibly professional,she went above and beyond and ensure that we were happy. The service team was also exceptional and handled fixes very well. I highly recommend
Almost 10 years I’ve lived here for almost 10 years and I have seen two different management teams. The ones currently here are accommodating, understanding and communicate well. The maintenance team is also responsive and addresses the needs of the apartment quickly. The amenities are family friendly. The only criticism I have is that I wish the gym were a bit larger and a little more state of the art. It hasn’t changed much in the time that I have lived here. In the one year that I have lived in this building, there have been issues with the hot water (or all water), heating/AC, or other critical building features at least monthly. The individual units often have issues with pests. The garage has twice in my time here been broken into and cars vandalized. Greed and narcissism There is no doubt in my mind that the owner/management will respond; of which I will respond with concise specifics, names, dates, with issues and problems for further public view... Look we can all agree that tenants have the LEGAL RIGHT to a habitable home, and a healthy and safe living environment, and in court-of-law a tenant will win almost every-time. 3 Years In & Going Strong, Would Recommend We have lived here for 3 years at this point and have a pretty good experience so far. THE GOOD: Prime location situated in the middle of 3 neighborhoods (Adams Morgan, U Street and Columbia Heights). There is a nice Harris Teeter right around the corner. Would Not Recommend Cambridge has used coronavirus to take away or severely limit many of the amenities we pay for. Other apartments did not take away all of their amenities. I am not aware of any other apartment complex that has taken these steps. These amenities played a huge role in why residents signed our leases. Other apartments improvised with extra cleaning, had residents sanitize these amenities after use, or let the residents decide if they felt something was a risk not to take it. Noises you will go insane from how loud this apartment is as you sweat your body out from the fact that they don't have the AC on for half the year.
Responsive and Accommodating It was a great leasing experience. I received a response the same day as my inquiry to view an apartment. Also only a one day turnaround time on my application. The leasing staff was very accommodating with working with my schedule and furniture delivery prior to my move in date. Great experience! Especially compared to other properties I had been in contact with during the same time.
Loud, very loud Apt 521 overlooks a fire station and you will hear sirens and horns all night. Its soundproofing is one of the worst I have ever seen
