I am so grateful for Dr. Fessler and his staff. He has stood by me since 1996 and genuinely cares about you. I have him to thank for giving me my life back. I truly do not know where I would be without his excellent care and compassion. Highly recommend Dr. Fessler and his team!!

Dr. Gilmer is amazing! She has made my daughter feel human and loved with each appointment. She listens and discusses instead of pushing and dismissing. She did surgery for her Chiari. The hospital stay was nice and comforting. Our post op appointment was very helpful, informative and loving. All around we have been extremely happy with the care we have received. Side note:. Wendy, her Nurse, is so kind and helpful. She has been wonderful with returning calls and helping us with our questions.

I have been a patient of Dr. Perez-Cruet since early 2014. And then a Patient of Dr. Farhat since 2015. I absolutely love both Doctors. If I didn't I would not be a patient of Michigan Head and Spine. Their phone system is impossible. You can NOT talk to a live person, no matter how hard you try. I have called many times and have had to leave messages every time. I have to leave multiple messages to get one return call and that is days later. I am so fed up with the system, after calling and asking for a return call, I have ... read more

Dr. Carrie Stewart!!!! BEST DOC I HAVE EVER SEEN...she listens quietly as you tell her your problem....she is INTERESTED in the patient and not in how quickly she can get to the next appointment....I recommend her she's good at what she does....she is not a pill pusher!!! She exhausts every other treatment BEFORE writing a prescription for a pill.

Dr Gilmer is the best neurosurgeon I've been to! (3 of them) my surgery went great, I went home, then went back to my home town ER on Easter, she had them ambulance me back up to her and she was in to see me that day! Her bed side manner and the care she had for her patients are wonderful! Her PAs are great too! Thanks Dr Gilmer for giving me life back!

Dr. Xavier saved my mother's life several years ago and put coils in her brain because she had an aneurysm. He saved her life. God Bless you Dr. Xavier. I am coming to see you now as a patient on 3\27\17.

My first consultation was with Dr. Laurie Stewart was very nice, but unfortunately doesn't do surgeries anymore and agreed that I needed surgery, so in the meantime she sped things up by getting me an epidural to ease my pain while I waited to get in to see Dr. Fessler, once I saw Dr. Fessler he got me in exactly one month later for surgery and I'm now two weeks into my recovery. The staff at Providence Hospital in Novi was very nice, courteous and professional, there was a tiny bit of lack of communication on some minor iss... read more

I've now seen Dr. Gilmer and Dr. Venya and neither one have been of any help. After Dr. Gilmer looked at my CINE MRI, she came back in the room and didn't even bother to sit down to answer questions or even close the door. The quick conversation she had doesn't even match the MRI report. If you have chiari malformation, steer clear. Also, the clerical ladies were loudly discussing trumps policies and their opinions. Not the time or place.
