RecommendedDr Glisky is a God send. I had an accident years ago she got me through it. Who would have thought I would have had to go back again for castrophic injuries from another accident. I've been suffering with herniated disk, DDD and other spine issues that I was stuck in a hamster wheel of p.t. and injections that didn't work for 10 years with my spine doctor telling me no to surgery... I was suffering with severe nerve pain in my legs. Saw Dr. Tong re: muscle spasms & back pain. I was desperate after trying muscle relaxants, pt, acupuncture, topical creams, Thermacare patches, nerve stimulator, deep tissue massage - anything I could think of! Dr. Tong said an epidural injection would NOT help me. Instead he recommended Duloxetine which is an anti-depressant that also helps with musculosketal pain. Dr. Gilmer is by far one of the nicest doctors out there and she truly knows what she is talking about and what she is doing! She has given me my life back! The entire staff at MHSI has been great as well!
If you have an 11 am appointment. Come on in about 12:30. They are never on time and I understand delays and being thorough with everyone. But they are never on time and I for one feel as if my time is as important as theirs. I bring my mother here every month and have never left here without being here almost two hours for a very minimal exam and medication refil Please stop over scheduling and making people in pain sit in your waiting room.
I'm overcome with emotion five months since si2 L4 fusion and I held my grandson for the first time today and picked him up and put him over my shoulder on my chest it was the most best feeling I could ever had thank you to dr.
