Im going on 2 yrs with Dr Ashworth since being diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. I am so grateful for the care and attention Dr Ashworth and her staff have given me. She is always happy and positive when I visit her, this really uplifts me. She really does her research and has chosen the best treatments for me . So far my CT scans have shown no signs of metastatic disease. So grateful! We are very comfortable with her because she is very knowledgeable and she cares.
She is wonderful. Let's me ask questionss, answers them, gives suggestions but keeps me involved.

Dr. Ashworth has seen me for years. She explains everything to me. I know all tests about each one is and I understand the tests. I think Dr. Ashworth is great!

Knowledgeable and a Good Listener
It is a rarity in the practice of medicine that a medical doctor does not interrupt the patient every 11 seconds. I am grateful, not because I am a physician, but as a patient, that I feel a partner in the decision-making process. I am thankful she is my oncologist.The staff, all-inclusive, have likewise been outstanding. Her demeanor as a physician is unique.Long before I became a patient, I had harbored a high regard for the physicians at Texas Oncology, including the Neuro-oncologist. This is a good organization.

I don’t normally write bad reviews, but my experience with Dr. Ashworth was deeply disappointing. I struggle to express myself effectively and remember important details during appointments, so I brought documents to assist me, a couple of which were generated with AI and included possible interpretations of my symptoms. She immediately became very defensive over this. Despite emphasizing that I rely on her professional analysis and recommendations, she never seemed to fully recover.
