About this business

Our practice philosophy is that a detailed history and extensive physical examination will always be state of the art. Surgery is always a last resort only after all conservatve modes of care have been exhausted. We spend time with and listen to what our patients have to say. We will never pass patients off to a nurse or a physician assistant. Rather, our patients can expect to be seen and examined by a board-certified orthopedic surgeon each time they come for an appointment at the spine center.

I've been seeing Dr. Wildstein for lower back pain that has been intermittently debilitating for years. He determined that I am a good candidate for platelet rich plasma therapy between the discs in my lower spine. Four months in and I have had basically no back pain since initial treatment. Hopefully, with the treatment and regular exercise, I can push off surgery for many years. Dr. Wildstein has been great to work with and the staff always gets me in and out quickly. Highly recommended.

The compassion, caring, and interest in my wellbeing was awesome. He answers all questions both in medical terms & layman's terms. Makes sure you know what is going on. His bed side manner is fabulous. He should teach a class in it!!! Absolutely recommend!!! Him and his staff are A plus times 10.

I was hunched over and walking with a staff. My first visit with Dr. Wildstein was amazing. Discussion of MRI, he did an Xray and a lower back injection. Surgery was done a couple of weeks later. Pretty invasive surgery requiring vertebra spacers, a bracket and 3 screws. I'm 3 months out of surgery and feeling great. Back in the gym to strengthen the core. I am 100% satisfied with my whole experience and Dr. Wildstein's knowledge and skill.

What an incredibly great experience seeing Dr Wildstein considering the direction corporate medicine has gone. It you have an appointment, you ARE going to see only Dr Wildstein. On my first visit, we reviewed MRI images, he wanted a couple of X rays which were done in 5 minutes, he suggested an injection which was immediately done, and then back to review MRI images and discuss my situation in more detail. Incredible! Many people I think shy away from having back surgery. Not me. I am 74 years old and pretty active. I play g... read more

Of all the doctors available to help me with my walking and nerve compression problem, Dr. Wildstein was the only one mentioned by name. From my first visit to his office in April 2024, he gave me a complete analysis of the problem at my L4 and L5 vertebrae, the procedure he would use to relieve the pressure on the nerves and the outcome after the operation. He made three small incisions on my back (No Frankenstein Stitches, Ha! Ha!) to install the hardware to keep pressure off of my nerves and after returning to my room, the... read more

After being sent to 4 different specialties and physicians, a personal referral lead me to Dr. Wildstein. More than a year of very limited mobility and constant pain, Dr. Wildstein provided relief the very day of my initial appointment. Within 2 days of spinal injections I had my life back again! Very professional, attentive listener and kind.

I picked Dr. Wildstein as my back surgeon because his reviews were all about great surgery outcomes. This is one more review about a great surgery outcome. At Dr. Wildstein's office, you deal almost exclusively with Dr. Wildstein. He finds you in the waiting room, ushers you into his office, takes his time conducting the appointment, and sees you out. You get his full attention. He gives you ample time to explain your trouble and to ask questions. He pays attention to what you say and responds with relevant and understandabl... read more

Dr. Wildstein was highly recommended to me by pain doctor (chiropractor). I have been very impressed with him thus far. He is very knowledgeable, conservative in his treatment, easy to understand and listens well. I have seen him 3 times in the last couple of months. I was having pretty bad sciatica in my lower back, buttocks and legs. I got an mri and he pinpointed the source of my pain (severely herniated disc at L4/L5) and explained the issue in terms I could easily understand. He recommended a cortisone injection to star... read more
