After years of conservative efforts to treat my spinal stenosis, nothing really worked and my condition was worsening. However, I had closed my mind against any open back surgery. But after consultation with Dr.. Crandall I felt totally confident that it was what I will do.. He explained everything so thoroughly and with such warmth and compassion that I was totally at ease and looking forward to hiss successful treatment. He is truly a fine clinician and a very nice person.
Extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and tells you of your condition in a way you can understand. I highly respect Dr. Chang and his confidence is reassuring. After feeling hopeless, he has given me hope again. I can't give Dr. Chang enough stars and highly recommend him to anyone suffering spine issues. Sonoran Spine has the best staff also. They are on the ball.

Dr. Chang is excellent. I have met with him over the past 3 years. Each time my husband & I are very impressed with his willingness to answer any & all questions. He is never hurried or rushed. I highly recommend him & trust his skills , he will be doing my back surgery In Nov.
Dr Chang is very professional and thorough and very pleasant, answers all questions no rushing, the whole staff is very welcoming. I recommend Dr Chang to anyone that asks about a good spine doctor, he's the best.
I know Dr. Chang from a previous neck surgery that was mostly effective. This visit concerned lower back. He is good at his trade and would recommend him.
Dr Crandall took the time to review with me and explained it in very easy to understand English. He also did testing of my back and right leg and recommended one more test to be sure of what was going on with my numbness, cramps and associated pain. Test to be done by an outside MRI company on February 25, 2021. After MRI done I will make an appointment with Dr Crandall to review results.
Dr. Chang was extremely thorough and wasn’t rushed in the appointment at all. He not only answered all my questions but also gave us much more accurate & better prognosis than had been previously told to us by another doctor The entire office staff was friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating of my child with special needs.
