Im retired from the xray world and I know the best orthopedic Dr's out there in the surrounding counties..from initial visit to TKR one week ago Dr. Putney is my only choice.
I have seen Dr Putney since 2009 and never experienced the issue some people have expressed. Was disappointed when he left the RR group but was delighted to see that he is practicing in Cedar Park area. I was originally recommended to him by a co worker and have recommended him to many over the years. Seeing him next week for my other knee.
Dr Putney has been my Orthopedic Doctor since 2003. He listened patiently and did not immediately jump to surgery until we tried everything first. He has replaced both knees and repaired a tear in my rotatator cuff in my right shoulder. I will be seeing him soon to help with my wrist pain in both wrist.I could not be more satisfied
This man is so amazing I have had 2 replacement done through him in 2019 and 2020 I’m glad God directed him to me I have recommended him to people and I’m just over joyed how mu surgeries went and he has an AWESOME staff as well KUDOS to him
My experience with Dr. Putney was fantastic. He used the Superpath procedure to replace my left hip and the results were amazing. I found him to be professional and willing to listen.
Dr.Putney is awesome! I had a radial year of my left meniscus down to the root from a car accident, plus a grade 2 MCL sprang. Dr. Putney repair the tear and did some clean up work on the MCL sprang and my old age. He was always professional and to the point. I appreciate the direct approach Dr. Putney and Terry, his assistant took with my surgery and care. If you are looking for someone to coddle you...he might not be the guy for you. But, if you are looking for an amazing surgeon, he is definitely the man for the job.
Terrible bedside manner. Doesn’t like to be challenged and will turn into a jerk. I don’t care how many years he went to medical school. I have lived in my body longer than he attended school. I know how I react to certain medications and didn’t appreciate his little tantrum.
The office did not submit the required documentation to my insurance for approval (one being the x-ray). The office didn't return my several calls and several calls from my insurance company and rep. All of this tied up my insurance, so I couldn't get approved at another doctor's office. I am 45 days out from my injury and they wanted me to wait another 45 days to resubmit to my insurance, stating it wasn't the doctor's issue.
