Went to Dr Gross for “ spider vain” removal. Two weeks later a chunk of skin fell off my leg, leaving a gaping wound. All he said when I showed it to him is, “that is going to leave a scar.” Here is some scar cream. It has been 5weeks and I still have a gaping seeping open wound. Have been seeing two other doctors for care.
i appreciate all he's done for me in treating my psoriasis over the years. He's up to date on new treatments and really explains things well.
Dr. Gross is a great Dermatologist and he has the best staff. I would recommend him to anybody who would want a great Doctor that gives his patients the best of care.
I was excited to see Dr. Gross when I moved back to Virginia, but it's been nothing but headaches with his office. My hx of melanoma requires some urgency, something I have never gotten from him. I have had to call the office multiple times to get biopsy results long after they were promised and prescriptions long after they dropped the ball in providing info for my pharmacy to fill it. I'm getting my records and finding another doc. Horrible staff!
He refused to do a full body scan for skin cancer, which every other dermatologists does without having to ask. Then he insisted on having his assistant perform the treatment. I told him no way! Either the doctor does it, or I walk. He reluctantly did and and lectured me why he doesn't need to do it. Finally, they tried to stick me with the bill even though I was covered by insurance. They were incapable of submitting the claim properly to the insurance company. We had to call three times!
Approx. 8 years ago, horrible experience with Dr. Gross with permanent damage. After having several bs cancers removed from face, asked about unrelated dark areas at inner eyes. Long story short, he injected juvaderm (I knew nothing about juv.) all over my face. Horrible bruising for weeks. I now have permanent swelling under my eyes. I feel like a guinea pig as he obviously didn't know what he was doing with the way he proceeded. Was told if not happy, money refund. NO REFUND though.
Dr. Gross is an excellent Physician. He works well with different types of insurance (and good with samples and coupons) to give the patients options for the best kinds of medications available to them. He is very knowledgeable in the skin conditions that are complicated to other doctors.
Dr. Gross is a great dermatologist. He is very knowledgeable in all areas of dermatology. He very good at diagnosing the problem from asking you questions about what you are experiencing and looking at the problem. He explains everything. Shows you pictures if needed and gives out information brochures. I would recommend him highly.
Unbelievable. Waited over an hour just to see the doctor. Was in the patient room for 45 minutes, no staff member came to check. Quality of care unimportant at this point. There are many dermatologist practices in the area with more respect for their patients' time.
