Dr Duval has performed surgery on several family members, each one was successful. He has performed 5 surgeries on me, never a complication. There was always thorough follow up by him and his assistants. The most recent was a rotator cuff repair while I was living in North Texas. My physical therapist in Texas told me that after 27 years, he had never had the surgeon personally call to make sure they understood how he wanted physical therapy to be performed. The initial diagnosis was more serious than what Dr Duval saw when performing the procedure so he only did the repairs necessary

Dr. Duval (and Dr. Hebert as well) always seems to make time for me when injuries spring up. He's treated me 6 times (4 for knees / 2 for shoulder), and he's always looking to heal me without surgery via injections and physical therapy. Sometimes you can't avoid the knife, but it sure is comforting knowing you're being treated vs. just operated on.

My appointment was at 2:15. I was called to a room at 2:20 and was seen by Dr. Duval at 2:40. After consulting with me about my shoulder a scoping procedure was set for August 23rd. I’m ready to be pain free.
Always on the spot diagnosis and correct solution
I was given a Duralane shot and the nurse Laine was amazing while injecting my right knee. She was very polite and even made me laugh. I felt no pain at all during injections!! I will not worry next time for another injection when necessary.
The front desk personnel were very friendly, helpful and professional. The x-ray technician was very nice and courteous. All the way around, it was a very good experience.
