Go some place else. Office like an assembly line. Seen for eye exam and there for 2.5 hours! Dr Depenbusch wanted to do eye surgery. When i was hesitant, he became hostile and intimidating. He left room before I could ask questions about possible complications or concerns. Consent signed did not satisfy informed consent. Told by surgery scheduler I would be charged $100 for changed or cancelled surgery.
I visited Dr Michael J Depenbusch for the eye check to get my glasses change. Why i don't suggest here are the pointers1. Dr doesn't even spent more than a minute to talk about the problem and final result whatever nurse says which is not accurate.2. They say Specialist charge of Copay is more at the end which is not right3. They force you to pay $50 if you want paper copy of the prescription which is additional to copay and not aware of this payment by insurance ... completely not transparent process.4. when you tried to re... read more
Dr. Depenbush performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. The results were not acceptable. My right eye is worse than before the surgery. Also, his response to the problem after he attempted to fix it and failed was lousy.
Very friendly Staff and Dr Depenbusch was very knowledgeable and polite.
Dr. Depenbusch is very thorough during the initial visit. He explains everything very well---including the good, bad and the ugly. Only the good happened. I was really appreciative of the information. I think he is the best at what he does. Ana and the rest of his staff are all great, too. And the surgery center and Dr. Peters, the anesthetist, are all outstanding. Cataract surgery was scary for me due to having people in my life that had bad experiences. They gave an Upfront price for cataract surgery, I paid it. Then I got a bill afterward. They said it’s because they tried to run my insurance which they wanted to do. I was told that was the total price that was a big lie. I was also told that the follow up visit was included in my price. When I showed up they asked for my new insurance I told them that I already paid for the visit then they said that the follow up visit was for only 90 days. Dr. D. has amazing skill, knowledge, and passionate energy in his field. He was confident he could help me when others would or could not. The office staff members are knowledgeable and professional while quite personable. In-office wait time is sometimes long; but I remember that each individual's case is specific and needs its own time, he mainly sees senior citizens who require more time for instruction and repetition, and those seniors also like to visit with the dr. I have 100% confidence in this Opthalmologist.
We have had Dr. Depenbush as our family Opthalmologist for 3 years. His office staff is very thorough , professional and helpful. We have gone for refractions and now two of us have had cataract sugeries. Wonderful! The staff in the surgicenter is friendly , professional , and thorough . Of course Dr. Depenbush is highly skilled sugeon and a pleasure to deal with. I can't recommend Dr. Depenbush more highly is he an outstanding doctor and so is his staff.
All staff were amazing. Wait time wasn’t too long (I’ve waited much longer at other doctors offices) I saw the assistant for testing and then saw the doctor. Was in and out within the hour. DoctorDepenbusch was very thorough and left with my new glasses prescription. The front desk also gave me a list of places to get glasses at! Will return :)
