Terrible-for having a knee replacement & the Doctor doesn't come to see you progress at the hospital? That speaks volumes He is behind the times. Has another doctor do the replacement & you don't meet him till you are rolled into the surgery room Run from this group of doctors. Newer procedure and better doctors at CDH

I'm sorry you had a disappointing experience. Since I am a sports medicine specialist, if a patient wants me to take care of their joint replacement I'm very upfront about informing them that I will bring on board one of my partners who specialize in arthroplasty. If they want to meet that doctor ahead of time, we will gladly set that up. I call the hospital everyday to assess progress, and discuss with our physician assistants any concerns as they make the daily rounds.
