Dr. Wittels has performed two hip replacement surgeries and I am very happy with the results. I don't mind waiting a little bit in his office because I have complete confidence in him. I would highly recommend him to anyone requiring a hip replacement.
I needed a hip replacement. I was in excruciating pain. Dr. Wittels scheduled me for surgery as soon as possible - a month away.. A week before the surgery I saw him because no one had contacted me about pre-op testing. When I saw him, he cancelled me because he was going on a trip to Nepal with his son. He was very rude when he told me. It took a month to schedule surgery with someone else. I suffered needlessly until then.
My experience was a complete nightmare. I had an appointment for 11:00 am and at 11:45 am I was still waiting in the very smelly waiting room. I asked the idiot Women working at the office why they scheduled me at 11:00 am when it's now 11:45 am and nobody knows when the doctor will see me.... They responded by saying that there are two patients before me..... And that I would have to wait around two hours.... And that's normal. The office is dirty, smelly with a rude staff. Horrible!
