Dr. Honan is very thorough and detail oriented. He is personable and approachable to discuss questions with. It has meant so much to me to have a dedicated physician that has even personally called me with test results! I'm thankful we came together after my heart scare and trust his guidance. The office is very convenient in the Colonnade area off Hwy. 280. It'ss new and clean with good parking. The lobby and exam rooms need plants and pictures! Ambiance is too sterile.
Dr. Honan is a fantastic physician. Exceptionally knowledgeable, comforting, and thoughtful. I remain a faithful consumer because he is so great. I have not been very happy with the ultrasound techs. I have had two negative experiences with them in the last few years. As a health care provider myself, I recognize that they need additional training in HIPPA compliance and an understanding of how the patient feels about their reactions to images. Smaller caseloads for the MDs would help.
He is excellent. Have seen him on multiple occasions and he is always the same. Never rushed through the appointment. Sat down, listened without interruption, documented what I was telling him and clarified that he understood what I was telling him. Gave me a written plan of care with follow up appointments and instructions. Very methodical with diagnostics, even called me at home to give me results that were normal, just to reassure me. Very caring doctor. Love that testing was done on site.
