Four years ago I tripped over my large dog and blew out my shoulder. Dr. Cheek thoroughly explained my injury and prospects of recovery. He explained I had no option but to have surgery. The surgery was completed and I now have full use of my shoulder. Unfortunately, walking in the woods I had another fall recently. Obviously, the thought of another surgery was not on my bucket list. Dr. Cheek recently repaired a torn bicep tendon in my arm. He was able to quickly diagnose the injury, and develop a treatment plan. He did an excellent job of explaining the injury and the pros and cons of different treatments. The surgery went exactly as he had described to me, and my arm is healing up nicely. I highly recommend him for anyone who has suffered a similar injury...he did a fantastic job!

Dr. Cheek repaired my damaged rotator cuff, which is now healed and functioning as it did prior to may accident. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Cheek and the entire staff at Shorline Orthopedics. Everything I was told about what to expect throughout the process - from surgery to therapy to recovery - went exactly as I was told. Every appointment was on time with no delays and the followup by the PA and Dr were professional and helpful.

Identified my shoulder issue in the first visit, after an x-ray, and put me on the path to healing without need of surgery. I’m now a month into my physical therapy and have regained strength in my shoulder.

I had a torn rotator cuff and Dr. Cheek did a wonderful job repairing it and explaining to us everything about it, the results are great, his technical skills are unmatched as well as his team. My results show it. Not only that, he is one of the most kind, caring, and compassionate physicians I have ever met. I was very privileged and thankful to be in his care.

I was already involved with Shoreline as a former patient of Dr. Cheek for a shoulder injury years prior so when I slowly started losing my range of motion and was having chronic pain in my other shoulder, Dr. Cheek was of course my first choice. Not only did he thoroughly explain the what and why this was happening to me..severe arthritis along with some degenerated bone.. he first and foremost took the least aggressive approach. Definitely would recommend dr. Cheek and everyone that I came in contact with at Shorline Orthopaedics. It is a smooth running outfit. I had rotator cuff surgery which Dr Cheek has performed over 6,000 times. Needless to say he knows what he’s doing. When he operated on my rotator cuff he also cleaned up a couple other things in my shoulder. The recovery takes 6 months. Rotator cuff surgery is not fun. I am very excited with the outcome so far. Still have some exercises to do. I am very pleased
