Unreal!!! Im still in shock on how this was handled. Go to check in, not there....no name. Have my itinerary number, nope! Nothing. Show email, etc....finally the property manager comes down to check me in. What? Thought I was staying in a hotel. Aparrently not. This is a rental property privately owned. Ok. Whatever. Promised a parking vochure. Nope. Not with this property. Find the document that states I was told I have parking ($36 a day) I’m here all weekend, so I’m looking at over $100 just to park. Still no. I have stayed for a week at one of the Miami Apartment Rental units in the Sonesta and seen two others, and they are uniformly gorgeous. Stylish and well furnished, with fantastic views and modern appliances, they are several cuts above the average hotel suite. The unit came with all of the amenities of a hotel including more great views from the pool, gym and restaurant. The location in Coconut Grove could not be better.
