This company sends veterans deceptive mail that looks like it comes from your real mortgage lender. This is dishonest, why would I do business with a company that can’t be honest from first contact? Praying on veterans isn’t cool.

my current home loan with AFN. when i started looking refinance almost 6 moth ago, AFN'S loan officer contacted with me for the same but motive was just to lingered as much as possible. now this is 6th month, it's clear indication of AFN's intension as fraudulent. I understood very well - American Financial Network Inc is a fraud intuition.

If there were negative stars, I would give them -10 stars. I wish I had thought of checking with BBB before doing business with them. It took from the middle of May to the beginning of August to get the Refi finished and they screwed me at the end. DO NOT do business with this company. Shame on me for not being wiser, lesson learned for sure.

Started a refi with them. After a while they added a large amount of charges, over the original quote. I found another lender and they charged $6,000 less in fees for a better interest rate.

AFN is a scam on every level. Applied for a refinance, with cash out. Conditionally approved for first application, pending appraisal. Appraisal came back well within the range. Abruptly told that processor was no longer with them. Every update for over two months, all is fine, won't be long before closing. Due to the prior processor, need to do a new application, take about two more weeks, then close. Just a formality. New application was NOTHING as we discussed. The loan amount was reduced. These people are ridiculous. They make everything sound so great and wonderful, they get you the best quote then after receiving all your information they tell you that you are approved and can move forward they turn around and tell you a few days later WE'RE SORRY BUT UNFORTUNATELY WE ARE UNABLE TO GET YOU APPROVED after you were approved... Hands down one of the WORST experiences I have ever had with a lender. (I’ve been in real estate for 15 years) Brian and his team handled a buyer client for my seller’s property. Needless to say, the sale did not happen. They pulled the buyers credit 5 times. Failed to communicate any issues with the buyer, her agent or myself until two days before closing. And then couldn’t close the deal.

My name was misspelled. I repeatedly asked that it be spelled correct on the documents and was assured it would be. i received my documents and my name is misspelled on all of them and my title documents. I sent an email asking it be corrected and received no answer Tarik Z***** - 'Shalidra N***** - Jared R***** were who I dealt with. Poor customer service.
