good mexican food! I have eaten here on several occasions with my mother in law, and we have enjoyed the food each time. The chips are quite yummy )the salsa is not bad either, although I have had better) and the entrees, while big, are good too! The service has always been fairly quick and attentive. We will definitely eat here again.
Very Good Food! Same food they served 39 yrs Ago! These guy are awesome!! I first had Mexican food in Snohomish County in 1967 at the age of 4 when my dad took me to a small cafe in Mount Lake Terrace, and I still love it to this day. When i think authentic these guy are as close to what was served in the late 60's in this area, as you can get. Very popular place-I'm not sure why Mexico Cafe is a decent Mexican restaurant, but it has an undeserved reputation for serving the best Mexican food for the lowest prices. The prices are about the same as other local Mexican restaurants, but the food is just average. The atmosphere is loud and bustling (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). Quick service, average drinks.

Really disappointed in how the ownership feels about their employees. Likely speaks to their overall treatment of staff and possibly others.

home delivery is possible. plus they give you options on type of sauces menudo is a good option on sundays,f or those who like menudo.
We picked up take-out on a busy Sunday evening and I am SO impressed with how well they have responded to safety and sanitation (Covid specific). One-way door and food pick up process, paper sheets to use when opening doors, one-use pens and the plexiglass shield to protect their employees. Happy to support this local establishment that has clearly put time and money into keeping their staff and patrons safe.
