His place is terrible. My burrito enchilada style was the worst ever. The cheese wasn't even melted inside. I told them about it and they just microwaved it! Still wasn't even hot or melted! They should have remade it! We won't ever be back!
My god I wish I could give less than one star. My husband, who is allergic to mold, went to this location to buy a bag of chips and sauce for dinner. We get home and start eating the chips and a couple layers from the top , there are about a dozen chips with black mold all over them. When I went to the store for a refund the woman at the counter didn't want to give me a full refund...Because we didn't bring the sauce back! El Taco is wonderful! Consistently good, uniquely Springfield, and a constant in a crazy world. I am 57 and I love that they are largely the same as they've been since I was young. Comfort, good food and friendly employees. What more could you need?
