About this business
In 2001 Metzger's re-opened at its current location on Zeeb Road. The restaurant seats 189 people inside and also offers outdoor seating in our Biergarten. We still serve the same great food in a European atmosphere and the family tradition is still alive and well. The current owner John Metzger works multiple nights a week and his parents Walter and Ruth still enjoy dining at the restaurant throughout the week.

I love the pot roast and the bread. All the side dishes are excellent. It has great atmosphere, good service and excellent food. The carrot cake is the best.

Amazing food, fantastic service from the bartender. He was so patient and knowledgable. We will definitely be back soon!!! Great value! Best German cuisine around!! The history of the place is so interesting and fun too!! Beer selection is off the hook!!

I very much recommend this German restaurant and Amy , as a waitress ~ she knows your stuff and did excellent job , Wes Efficient-by serving us ... My favorite stuff and my recommendation That would be veal or pork schnitzel with their famous onion soup...
