I love this place, the food, the ambiance, everything!
I can not say enough about this place, not only is the food perfect every time but the staff is great too. My husband and I have had dinner here a few times and it was amazing every time! We have also had their brunch a couple of times, and love the bloody mary bar. But this last weekend we got to sit at the chef's table. Brunch two days in a row and two of the best meals ever. My new favorite spot! Kevin M was a terrific server too.
The food is simple and elegant- as it should be. I love watching the menu change with the seasons and the board of farmer vendors that supply the food grow as the season expands. The staff at Farmers are knowledgable about the food and incredibly polite. It's like family every time I visit!
I didn't know what to expect, but as with other Springfield "fine" "dining", I was somewhat expecting a half-attempt at good food. It was really good! The fried Brussels sprouts were great, as was the fish :)
First time here and had the cornbread and roasted chicken. Everything was delicious, the service was great, and we're glad to know we're helping local farmers!
Two favorite dishes (so far), the Trout is amazing, flavorful, cooked to perfection - then there's the Beef Tongue Sandwich, the texture is like a very tender liver, but not the strong flavor of liver, just buttery, mild, with a hint of beef. Be adventurous, you won't regret it!!
