At Metropolitan farmer we have built relationships with our farmer partners. They are not suppliers, but our neighbors, our friends, and in some cases family. As Chefs our job is merely to showcase the hard work the farmer has already put into the product not cover it up. “Buying local shouldn’t be a marketing tool, it should just be the way we do business. Buying locally means you are supporting the family farms and ranches that raised your food.”

WE LOVE Metro Farmer! We love the food and the fact that much of it is locally sourced, we love the staff, they truly are the best. Thank you for a wonderful experience EVERY time.
Anyone who comes to Springfield, Mo and misses an opportunity to eat at this restaurant, is seriously missing out! Metropolitan Farmer is always our go to place.
We hosted a bridal shower at the restaurant. It's like they read our mind....food and service was outstanding. It's like they read our mind. They were there before we could ask for anything. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anything.

Wonderful atmosphere and the food was very good, although my mom's meatloaf was a little undercooked, but otherwise it was delicious. Our server was attentive but not the friendliest, we just got the feeling that he was kind of irritated with us, although we did not ask for anything out of the ordinary and had no complaints or problems. But overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I took two of my best friends there for lunch today and loved every bite! The food was absolutely amazing! We will definitely come back. Maybe even bring our husbands, lol.
