My wife and I stopped by the Metropolitan Bakery and Cafe in Philadelphia yesterday for an afternoon snack. We loved the vibe of this place and their bakery offerings. My wife got a piece of carrot cake - which she said “was the best carrot cake I have EVER had!”
Closed ten minutes early...annoying
On Monday, February 3 at 2:20 you had two staff members short hair blonde one and all black kind of purpleish hair that sign out at 2:15 that the kitchen is closed and they only toasting bagels and then when asked for a toasted bagel, they said they have none then they switch their mind and they said they have a bagel, but they won’t toast itthese employees should they were more interested in being on their phones and smoking outside than providing to the customers I will never come back to this place with this kind of custo... read more
Charging a premium for your product and then forcing your customers to use the crappiest coffee dispenser imaginable is an interesting choice. I had to pump that thing like I was giving it CPR - very awkward especially when dispensing more than one cup. Bagel had a good flavor and was pleasantly crispy with an average coverage of cream cheese. 2 bagels with cream cheese and 2 small coffees was over $15. Great coffee!! I stopped today for cappuccino it was awesome. I will come back again for a breakfast.
