Great Care – I had an infection in my eye and was being treated by another practice. My eye was not improving as quickly as I expected it to, and I was getting ready to go on a trip. Mecklenburg Eye Associates was able to get me in that day. Dr. Blotnick looked at my current prescriptions and explained why they were not working and switched my drops. I CAN SEE!!! – I am extremely satisfied with everything about Mecklenburg Eye Associates. I have worn corrective lenses since the age of 9 with 20/400+ vision in both eyes. I recently underwent cataract surgery using Dr Blotnick and could not be happier. After two weeks on the left eye I am now 20/20 and the same in my right eye the day after surgery. Inefficient Patient Service – I had a similar experience as ladyfrench42. When I have an appointment I do not expect to wait 3 hours to be seen. My time is valuable and I do not like to waste it. Most of my time was spent sitting in the waiting room with nothing to do but look at the crowd waiting. The only reason I stayed is that it is November and I don't have time to see another dr before the end of the year. Will not make that mistake again nor will I go back to MEA.

Friendly Doctor would recommend – I had a red painful eye and called several offices to see if I could get seen quickly. No practice would get me in for several days until I called Mecklenburg Eye Associates. The secretary told me to come to the office right away. The doctor was friendly and even gave me a sample of an eyedrop. I was better within 2 days. Now I recommended my family to see them. Thanks.

LAST MINUTE PROBLEM – I JUST WANT TO THANK EVERYONE AT MECKLENBURG EYE FOR TAKE CARE OF MY HUSBAND. HE GOT AN EYE INFECTION AND WE WERE ABLE TO GET WORKED IN AND TREATED BEFORE WE WENT OUT OF TOWN ON VACTION. THANKS AGAIN.

Great experience, Highly Recommend – Had a great experience at Mecklenburg Eye Associates. The office is clean and modern with Plasma TV in the lobby. The staff were friendly and pleasant. I thought the doctor was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Still thinking about having LASIK, but now I am much better informed. I would definitely recommend them again.

Inefficient Patient Service – Timely service to their patients is lacking. My wife went for a simple eye exam which took 2 3/4 hours. Actual time with the physician was approximately 15 minutes, the initial workup took approximately 15 minutes, approximatelyy 30 minutes was spent waiting for the eyes to dilate, all reasonable times.
