What wonderful treatment! One of the best experiences, going to an eye doctor. I must say Thank You very much. I can see!!!!!! Everything went great. Would recommend you and have done so already. Dr. Blotnick performed my LASIK procedure two days ago and I still haven't been able to wipe the smile off my face! I've worn glasses and/or contact lenses since I was nine years old, and finally at age 26 I'm seeing better than I ever have. I think those of us who have always relied on our glasses or contacts have a hard time imagining that a laser might be able to magically fix our vision. Dr.Blotnik and the staff at Mecklenburg Eye Associates made my experience very satisfying. My initial eye evaluation, cataract surgery ( no pain or discomfort), and followup have been excellent. I would recommend MEA to everyone requiring any type of eye treatment or surgery.

I visited the University area location of Mecklenburg Eye Associates and had a positive experience from beginning to end. I was greeted by a friendly and helpful receptionist; Dr. Blotnik and Laurie were wonderful. They answered all of my questions and my appointment was quick and easy. Even after completing new patient paperwork and trying on frames for a bit, I was completely finished in under 90 minutes. I definitely recommend their services!

Hope you don't have to deal with the billing department – I would give this place negative stars if I could. The doctors and office staff were fine. My appointment was at the Rock Hill location. However, my headache came about 8 months AFTER my appointment when I had to deal with the billing department. Apparently my insurance company took back some of the payment that they provided for this appointment. I was notified by the billing department via a mailed statement. Within 2 weeks they started calling me. I guess I didn

Great Surgeon and Friendly, Helpful Staff – Recently, I was referred by my opthamologist to Dr. Blotnick for possible cataract surgery. I am very happy to say that I agreed to have Dr. Blotnick perform cataract surgery on both of my eyes. His vast knowledge in his field, professionalism, and upbeat attitude is what I received each time I met with him before and after each surgery. Excellent care – I have been seeing Dr. Blotnick for almost a year, I was referred to Mecklenburg Eye Associate by Columbia Eye Clinic. Dr Blotnick and his staff have been professional, courteous and friendly to be both me and my daughter. He is well qualified, he explains what your condition is and the options you have to fix the problem. He is a talented eye surgeon. I've worn glasses for 48 years. Now 20-15 – Dr Blotnick performed cateract surgery on both of my eyes and the results have been phenominal. I am now 20-15 without glasses and seeing things I have never noticed before. Aside from great results, the doctors office and staff are excellent, organized, and I never waited more than 10 minutes in the waiting room. The idea of eye surgery has always terrified me, but Dr Blotnick made it easy, painless and (relatively) stress free. Highly recomended!
