The first Metro Market opened in downtown Milwaukee in 2004 and introduced the urban shopping concept to the city of Milwaukee. Since then, Metro Market has grown, each location is unique featuring a mix fresh grocery selections, a great center store and expanded fresh and prepared offerings catering to shoppers on the go.

The so-called renovation of our formerly much beloved Metro Market is, and has been DEPLORABLE! The store is now just a shell of what it once was. 19 out of 22 items on our shopping list are no longer carried by the store! They've shrunk departments and made the store an absolute NIGHTMARE to shop in! The new flooring is UGLY, there are still the soiled, and mis-matched ceiling tiles overhead, not all the flooring has been replaced; and all this happening during the BUSIEST Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday shopping season!... read more
DO NOT use this pharmacy. On every occasion I have had doctors send prescriptions to them the store says they don't have them. I showed them documentation and literally sit on the phone with the doctors office who says it's been sent (in some cases DAYS BEFORE) and the pharmacy workers just say "we don't have it. Sorry". They offer no apology, no solution, no help for next time. Terrible customer service.
Its very close, I only live 2 blocks. When I feel like eating hot food. They have an excellent buffet line, it could be chicken or fish fry selection.
Never enough cashiers, poor selection, poor quality produce and cramped aisles.
The best fresh squeezed orange juice in the city for the last 10 years (yes, better than whole foods) just changed to some watery looking, nasty tasting substitute. The number one reason I shop at metro market is the orange juice. The prices at MM are generally higher than the other 2 pick and save stores closer to my home. Bring the old recipe back! If good oranges cost more, I'll pay more!
