The food never disappoints. The service is questionable. It's expected that you will wait for a table but our server was barely present. We went in before the Sunday crowds and still he wasn't anywhere to be found. We sat outside he didn't know the breakfast specials and didn't really seem interested in getting the details, a lot of "I think it's this, not sure what it comes with". This is on the type of service I would expect from metro diner. Very disappointing visit yesterday.
Had the JT Vortex Burger! Wow!! Was absolutely outstanding!!

Excellent food and service. Kept the coffee topped off and the server really communicated well with the 6 year old at the table, regardless of how busy and loud the restaurant was (which was really busy).

I had the best eggs benedict it was so yummy it had tomato avocado it was awesome and it was really really good hollandaise sauce!!
Had the Monte Cristo and the wife had the Reuben, food was great, service was excellent!!
Service was fast and friendly. The food was great, especially the chicken and waffles. The portions were very large resulting in delicious leftovers. I definitely recommend Metro Diner and plan to come back again.

They get five stars all the way around, great staff, great service, but mostly really great food. I have never been disappointed, always impressed. The Western Omelette I had Easter Sunday was probably the best I have ever eaten, and huge. I'll be back...
