RecommendedI'm speaking as a former employee. Charlton was the best work experience I had in my life. From a very supportive President, Fran, who actually worked as a nurse for years. To a great HR department and education. To my department managers, physicians, RT, charge nurses, nurse, PCTs, house keeping ECT.. I think it’s sad that you have nurses that place their racial biases on social media that’s crazy and it’s sad that she feels the way she does about black people and your hospital is in a minority filled area. That definitely makes a person feel unsafe. Is this what hire for nurses all the time?

I had a thoracic laminectomy done to put in a spinal stimulator. This is why you need someone to stay with you and be your advocate. My white board was not changed so I had no clue who my nurse or pct was when I got to my room. I was nauseated and I had my puke bags left on my table. The medicine I was given was not told to me I had to ask. My pain was not ever under control the time I was there. I asked several times when was my pain medicine given or when could I have my next pill and no one would answer me that. On top of... read more
