my mother had a successful peg tube placement and I appreciated Dr Hata's bedside manner and the nurses. I noticed Maddie was especially busy all morning and was exceptional at educating recovery patients with a bright professors manner. It did seem like a lot of partying was going on by several of the staff which could have improved the score.
My grandmother was admitted at this hospital. She was in the ICU for 4 days and wasn't doing well, but the nurses went above and beyond to take care of her, paying attention to every detail. They were very accommodating to our huge family that was constantly visiting. The doctors constantly made rounds, and were very open to answering any and all questions we had. I was cared for in the Family Center by a group of nurses disguised as Angels. They were super busy but I felt as if I were there only patient. My pregnancy was complicated by my health and during my stay I was cared for. The only thing I would ask is for more comfortable beds.
The nurse complain about her personal problems to me the entire time she performed her job. I didn't say anything just to be nice. But she was not a nurse who enjoys her job for sure.
ICU Unit was by far awesome, couldn't have asked for better care. 4th floor however was awful, seemed to be very uncaring, cold and not updated on patient care during shift changes!
