Merlin's was opened on May 12th, 1994 by Kathy Kokesh, and her son and daughter-in-law, Clayton and Sue Weitnauer. Our motto is "To serve great home-cooked meals at reasonable prices, by a friendly and welcoming staff." Even though many restaurants have had to close because of the bad economy, we have been able to stay open thanks to our many loyal customers. Had breakfast there yesterday for the first time and loved it! Lots of different breakfast choices and the waitress was very friendly! We will be back!
Great food! Only thing better was the service! I have taken the time to do this maybe 2 other times in my life. Thanks to the owners and employees!
We had breakfast here on Sunday Morning. From the moment we walked in, everyone smiled and treated us so graciously. Our server was Brooklyn and she absolutely made us smile. She was a delight!! The food was great also. I would recommend this place to everyone.
We arrived before their 6 am opening but were still greeted and treated like royalty! We ordered their trucker's special with extras and our waitress handled our requests like the pro she is! We love the Up North Log Cabin decor. It is always our top choice!!
Great atmosphere, employees and food. Highly recommend this place definitely coming back and making a stop when I'm there in August
