Merlin's was opened on May 12th, 1994 by Kathy Kokesh, and her son and daughter-in-law, Clayton and Sue Weitnauer. Our motto is "To serve great home-cooked meals at reasonable prices, by a friendly and welcoming staff." Even though many restaurants have had to close because of the bad economy, we have been able to stay open thanks to our many loyal customers. Yesterday my son and I ate at your facility. We had a good experience overall but I must say my skillet was less than impressive, I've eaten at your restaurant numerous occasions and I look forward to ordering your veggie skillet with hollandaise sauce! Then yesterday...there was hardly any on it so I ordered another side which I was then charged 1.50 for, I work in a restaurant so I understand things aren't always cheap but a measly side of sauce should not be 1.50. Easter brunch buffet- old nasty cheap food! Finding 3 Rancid bites was enough for me. Bacon was horrific, how can one screw up bacon?!?
