This has been a fave for me, for years. However, hearing it is about to change, I took several nursing friends there today, to celebrate their retirement. I was all excited for the beet salad. Boy, was I disappointed! There were only four, small pieces of beets with some arugula greens. Don't get your chops all excited for this one!
Bread was served cold, fries were dry, tasteless, as well as flavorless. steak was underdone. servers placed food in front of us that we didn't order...they seemed disorganized & did not present us with separate checks...laziness. also, our server had offensive breath. manager should have a mtg with the staff to address the importance of fresh breath when taking food & drink orders. also, they didn't present all menus in front of us, which you should all know...ask for the bar menu, bc the main menu is overpriced.
Excellent dinner and drinks to celebrate hubbys birthday tonight! We started with focaccia and cauliflower soup then flank steak dinner for him and i had the strozzapreti! Wish I had room to try a dessert.. but the the farm fresh flavors and herbs were a delight to every dish making them each unique. Worth every penny! We will be back.. can't wait to see the new remodel and rooftop dining!
