Always a great meal. The service is excellent and you will not find a better poorboy anywhere.

I have eaten at Merichka's ALL of my life. I've had many people say the Poorboy is not as good as it used to be. I beg to differ. The Poorboy is and always has been one of the best sandwich ever. I worked there in 1967 and probably had a Poorboy at least twice a week. Still as good as always. One of the biggest things I miss since I've moved to Lockport, is that Merichka's is a little too far away for me to get a carry-out every Sunday. The sandwich is cold by the time I get home! Our waitress lacked any kind of enthusiasm and appeared as though she wasn't happy to be there. Just my opinion. Any time you have to deal with the general public in customer service, one should be friendly and smile. The poor boy was average, double baked potato was ok. I was disappointed in the service and dinner. Overall experience a 4 out of 10. I kind of wished we would have went with our original dinner plans an... read more

My experience was awesome!!! Good as it always is every time that we come to town. We all had the poor boy and the yodelburger. Both were awesome in the garlic butter. We had the onion rings. I hate onions, but love y’all onion rings. Bought a bottle of house dressing to bring home. The staff was very helpful, friendly and attentive. I will always come back.
