Merichka's is one of the best restaurants near Joliet. It's old time charm and awesome food is what puts it above the rest!
So we ordered food and wanted to get my son who is in those terrible threes ankids shrimp basket, and was told they don't take that for orders to go ? When my wife went inside to ask the manager ignored her acting like she was busy and the take out girl said " it's the owners policy." Really you can't order a kids meal to go with two other full orders ! What the fuck is this, and the food was not as good as it used to be to boot and it took forever ! I was so mad I will not be going back for some time if ever !
Love this place! The best poorboy around and an awesome Old Fashioned as well.
Service alone deserves 5 stars! We treat ourselves now and then and there is nothing better than a Merichkas Poorboy! The restaurant transforms during the holidays and they decorate so beautifully. Quality ingredients and quality people. It’s a “must stop” if you are in the area and worth the ride if you’re not!�
awesome food great people and good price we mostly dine in but sat at bar had a cold beer and placed a to go order and was good as always
The food as great as always...not sure how the specials work off your web page...and waitresses come and go sometimes ya get one that's not so pleasant...it happens ...all in all I've been here since 63 always loved the food and the house dressing along w the sides...keep up the good work crew..stuffed shrimp is good
