RecommendedI was a patient jan 17th in the er. I cant say enough kind words about the staff. the minute I walked in until I walked out nothing but excellent service. The nurses were fast and efficient. awesome teamwork the dr awesome and the lab and xray ladies quick and so nice . thank you so much for the care you gave me on that day . god bless and keep you all safe

This hospital is Awesome 🤩
Do not go to this hospital unless you want to risk being overcharged. I had what appeared to be a large duplicate charge. The insurance company said I should inquire about it because it looked unusual. Twice I have called and have been unable to reach the person who handles billing. The person I talked to has twice promised a phone call back which I have never received. The bill was way larger than when I had the same test done in Davenport. Never again.
Incredibly poor treatment for patients and families. When a patient is on their deathbed or to the point where they feel they may not make it and they ask the nurses if they will call their family if they die they say I don't know if we'll do that or not. Nursing staff is unprofessional, Where's masks on their chins not covering their nose, won't let family members back with a patient who is unable to make their own medical decisions. nursing staff and doctors are very demeaning and demoralizing to patients. it's a shame tha... read more
Poor bedside Manner. Incredibly inconsiderate staff. I wouldn't trust my dog there. You would be better getting help from your neighborhood junkie.

They racist. They make black people wait when there is no one in the ER. rediculous how they treat people of color. Couldn't go help my mama when she was up there. nurses called the little security boy to keep me back. He wouldn't even speak to me. She became sicker after being there. They sent her out and didn't even send her meds to the pharmacy.
What started out as a very scary situation, I am very pleased with our care at mercy one. We got to the er around 10 am yesterday morning. Told the admitting lady that mady had been getting sick for almost 19 hours straight. She gave me a "barf bag" in case we needed it and had us go to the waiting room.
