Well, I had to make a 2nd round to this place. First diagnosis was severe chest cold and severe cough. Was prescribed antibiotics, prednisone & an inhaler. That was all week and a half ago. Yesterday, I went back bcuz I still had this crazy cough, raw throat and my tongue is raw. Doc didn't diagnose me with anything. He put me on different antibiotics more prednisone and tessalon (something to numb lungs and less urges to cough). Then I was told if I'm not better by Monday go to the ER. Ok, but what do I have? I had a cold, that I just couldn't shake... had already been to my family Dr, 2 weeks earlier, and I could tell it was moving into my chest, but it was Saturday, and my family dr wanted couldn't get me in, so I Chose MercyCare South. Fast! unbelievably fast!!! I don't think I was in the building more than 30 minutes! and he prescribed the RIGHT STUFF! I was Over It, in a week and have been feeling great ever since! THANKS MercyCare South! you're my GO TO!
They should not prescribe medicine unless they are sure what the problem is. Seen 3 times all wrong. 3 days later saw Iowa eye care finally right, because they know what the problem is.

Was a terrible experience for my wife. Took her there after the nurse and ER doctor told her to go to Mercy Care South if her pain continued. She came out to the sitting area nearly crying. The doctor yelled at her. I wish I would have gone in the room with her to wait for the doctor. Won't be going there and telling our friends of this horrible experience.
Very friendly staff and clean. Would highly recommend this location.
No matter what doctor I see when I go to the mercy walk-in clinic there always professional friendly polite courteous. Fast and efficient. I never feel rushed in and out my concerns are always addressed.
As usual very friendly staff. Dr Hayes and Dr Laura are so caring. They really listen to you and do everything they can to ensure you are healthy and satisfied with your care.
