RecommendedI went car shopping yesterday and after an unsuccessful 4 hours spent at a different dealership, I went to the Mercedes Benz of Bellevue. There I was greeted right away by the staff and had the pleasure of working with Thomas. Not only was he very knowledgeable and professional, but he accommodated all of our special requests. Is one hour $200 labor too expensive or normal? Yesterday I went there for passenger side airbag recall which is free. At the same time I requested to replace passenger side rear lamp. Totally 2.5 hours spent including half hours washing car. So I guess around one hour was spent on replacing the lamp. And I was charged $200+tax labor fee. AutoNation Collision Center quoted 0.5 hour. I understood it could take twice time here but not three or four times since anyway, replacing airbag needs time.

They did a great job at fixing what was under warranty. But in the process they disconnected my aftermarket mobileeye side radar and rear backup warning signal. This item is worth approx $2000. I mentioned to them and asked them to fix what they broke. I also asked several times though out the 11 days they had the vehicle. When I picked up the viehicle it still did not work.
