My son had to be in burn ICU for three days then was moved to Pediatric burn for an additional five days. I loved that though this was a very traumatic time for my family, the staff did everything they could to comfort us and be there around the clock.

My 2 year old son had his duraplasty here on July 2nd. We had no idea what to expect since we are very used to the amazing care we get from Seattle Childrens. We did worry some as this hospital was unknown to us. We had to have his surgery here due to the mold issue at Childrens. Wow!! We were so impressed with the care we received. From check in, to discharge. Everyone was so nice and accommodated and treated us like family! Michael and Mel (our RN’s) went above and beyond. Can’t say enough great things about them. I wish I... read more

The entire staff at Harborview is pure excellence. From the custodians, baristas, and cafeteria workers to the nurses, PA’s and surgeons - compassion and kindness rule their days. I am happy to have my husband home but I will miss the unparalleled staff (Especually Trauma Surgery floor 7 East) THANK YOU for saving my husbands life. My family will forever be the biggest fans and supporters of Harborview Medical Center. To all the staff who paused their busy days to hug me, reassure me or just find me clean linens to sleep a f... read more

I don’t recommend as this has become a refuge for the homeless thanks to the fine mayor of Seattle and patients are being neglected.

Harborview is a Trauma Hospital first and foremost. Consequently I have found most of the Medical Doctors have a rather high opinion of themselves and the "Care " they are supposedly providing. As long as you agree without question what they do for you then you are their kinda patient: comatose, blind deaf , or dead. But challenge their decision and you would think you've questioned a God about his/her decision. I generally go to Swedish instead. Just one Man's thoughts.
