Went there yesterday to get painting supplies. I had to get a few other items as well. I needed two ceiling panels to replace broken ones in my bathroom. I had to ask four different employees 7 times to help me with getting ceiling panels. The rudest one was a middle aged man who was blunt and made me feel like I wasn’t worth his time. Won’t be going back.
They could improve by offering curbside pickup during the covid 19 crisis like every other retail store and business in the area. Home Depot in town sells the same items, comparable price, and offers curbside pickup!
My recent experience with Menards, will have me finding home improvement needs elsewhere. I received terrible customer service for the last few weeks trying to finish putting my kitchen back together. Any employee that was asked the location of items, would just point in the general direction of where to find something. We were never asked if we need help while we shopped in store. I order shingles last weekend to be delivered Friday of this week. They neglected to inform me the truck was broken down on Tuesday, and that my delivery wasn't going to be here on time. I paid a group of guys to stand around and look at the garage today. Then the delivery guy refused to place the small pallet of shingles on the roof when he dropped it off saying it would cost me an extra dollar a bundle to put it up there, even though he already had the delivery on his forklift. I used to think Menards was decent..til their guys gave me the wrong size door, and they won’t take it back because I painted it..it was their screw up! Why am I stuck with this d*#n problem. Hope this isn’t how they handle all of their mistakes
